Privacy Policy

VARAK PDF is built so that your documents never leave your device. The app contains no networking code: it makes no requests to any server, ours or anyone else's.

What we do not collect

There is no account and no sign-in. We collect no personal data, no usage analytics, no advertising identifiers and no crash telemetry. We operate no servers that receive anything from the app.

Your documents

Documents you open, edit, scan or sign are stored on your device, in the locations you choose or in the app's own storage. Editing, text recognition, redaction and signing are performed on the device using Apple's frameworks. Nothing is uploaded.

iCloud

If iCloud is enabled on your device, your saved signatures are synchronised through Apple's iCloud key-value storage in your own iCloud account, so they appear on your other devices. Your documents are not synchronised this way. You can stop this at any time in iOS or macOS settings. Apple's privacy policy governs iCloud.

Camera and photos

The camera is used only when you start a scan or take a photograph of a signature. Photos you select are read only to produce the result you asked for. Images are processed on the device and are not sent anywhere.

Purchases

VARAK PDF Pro subscriptions (and any legacy one-time Pro purchase) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether an active subscription or a legacy Pro entitlement exists.

Children

VARAK PDF is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date.
